Welcome to EV Spot SG. Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy outlines how your information is handled when you use our mobile application ("the App").

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We built EV Spot SG with a privacy-first mindset. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII).

• We do not require you to create an account.
• We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number.
• We do not track your charging history or vehicle details on external servers.

2. Location Data

To provide core functionality (such as showing nearby electric vehicle charging stations and calculating distances), the App requests access to your device's location services.

• On-Device Processing: Your location data is processed locally on your device.
• No Tracking: We do not track your movements or store your location history remotely.
• Opt-Out: You can enable or disable location access at any time through your iOS device settings (Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services). If you decline location access, you can still search for charging stations manually.

3. Third-Party Services and APIs

To display real-time charging station data, the App fetches data from the Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA) DataMall API. This communication is strictly to retrieve charging station locations and availability statuses. No personal user data or location data is sent to the LTA API or any other third-party servers.

The App also utilizes Apple Maps and/or Google Maps for navigation purposes. When you choose to get directions, navigation is handled locally by the respective apps according to Apple's and Google's own privacy policies.

4. App Settings and Locally Stored Data

Information regarding your "Favourite" charging stations is stored entirely locally on your device using standard iOS secure storage (UserDefaults). This data does not leave your device and is not synced to any cloud server operated by us. If you delete the App, this data is permanently erased.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
